It’s just being reported that DHS has body camera footage of the fatal shooting incident in Minneapolis over the weekend involving Border Patrol agents.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin says some of the officers were wearing body cameras:

Well this is good to hear in my opinion. I posted a couple of videos circulating on social media on Saturday, but I’ve been hesitant to take it much further because the footage just isn’t that good. And there are also some bad actors using AI photos to gin up people, claiming that it is real.
I’m just glad DHS has more video than is being circulated, to give them a better idea of what actually happened.
I’ve thought about the shooting this weekend and this is what I think: The scene was chaotic and even if mistakes were made by federal agents – and I’m not suggesting such happened – but if they were, it was all caused rioters impeding federal operations AND the lack of local law enforcement. These agents must make split second decisions at times and I firmly believe they are doing the best they can in incredibly difficult situations. This is another reason I really want President Trump to send in the National Guard. But it doesn’t look like he’s going to do that.
