BREAKING: House passes bill to end partial govt shutdown with nearly two dozen Republicans opposing it

The House has just passed a bill to end the partial government shutdown, with 21 Republicans voting against the bill and that same number of Democrats voting for the bill to get it passed.

Bill Melugin reports:

The House just PASSED the bill to reopen the govt and fund the majority of govt thru Sept 30, 2026. DHS is funded thru next Friday February 13.

Final vote was 217-214

21 Republicans voted No
193 Democrats voted no

Now it goes to the President’s desk for signature.

The Republicans who voted against it are:

Biggs-AZ
Boebert-CO
Brecheen-OK
Burchett-TN
Burlison-MO
Cammack-FL
Crane-AZ
Donalds-FL
Fine-FL
Gill-TX
Luna-FL
Massie-KY
Mills-FL
Ogles-TN
Perry-PA
Roy-TX
Schweikert-AZ
Self-TX
Spartz-IN
Steube-FL
Timmons-SC

Now we get to do this all over again for DHS funding, which is primarily FEMA and the Coast Guard. But not ICE, which is fully funded to the end of Trump’s term.
