BREAKING REPORT: Judge HALTS Virginia referendum on new partisan congressional map

A judge in Virginia has just halted the state’s referendum on the new partisan congressional map, according to Brad Kutner with WVTF.

Here’s what he wrote:

“NOW: (according to my source in the courtroom) Tazewell judge grants @NRCC injunction stopping early voting in #valeg’s redistricting effort.”

Let’s hope this is accurate. However, I’m sure it will be challenged in the courts and who knows whether this will end up getting upheld or not.
