DUDE VIDEO – Senate Leader Thune is getting a lot of flak about this…

Senate Leader John Thune is getting a lot of flack online about Thom Tillis and Jim Justice participating in a ‘dogs of Congress’ dog parade yesterday in the Capitol, when Thune had said that there’s no time right now to debate and vote on the SAVE Act.

Here’s the video:

Elon Musk retweeted this video out a few minutes ago, suggesting he’s among Americans fed up with the excuses from the Senate as to why the SAVE Act hasn’t been voted on and the ‘talking filibuster’ set in motion.

Below are the comments that go with the video that were retweeted:

SAVE ACT: Leader Thune explained that Senators don’t have time to debate and vote on the SAVE Act. For example, today would have been a problem since Sen Thom Tillis had to participate in a dog parade featuring the dogs of Congress.

This is why the US Senate doesn’t have time to focus on the SAVE Act to secure elections for US Citizens and Voter ID. They had a Dog Parade today. Sen. Thom Tillis’ final dog parade featuring the dogs of Congress plus @BabydogJustice and owner @JimJustice_WV

They are useless.

Thune has said it will come to the floor in ‘due time,’ but people want to know exactly what that means. What people really want is the SAVE Act to be passed and signed into law by President Trump.

Now I’m not sure that this doggie parade in Congress is really standing in the way of the SAVE Act debate and vote, but I totally get why people are upset about seeing something like this, when the work that we want done isn’t actually getting done.
