CNN host Abby Phillip spewed falsehoods last night when she introduced a segment that included the New York City terrorist attack that we saw over the weekend. She claimed the attack was against the mayor.
Seriously:
It is incredibly irresponsible to lie to viewers about anything, especially something of this magnitude. The Muslim terrorists who did this admitted they did it to kill the anti-Islam protesters, referring to them as ‘kufar’, and they did it in the name of ISIS.
As a show host Abby Phillip should know this and there is no excuse for spewing this falsehood. She should be forced to apologize at the very least.
UPDATE: She now claims the wording was wrong and she didn’t catch it:

If this were true, she would have realized it after the words came out of her mouth. No, this is a reaction to all the criticism she’s gotten since she spewed this nonsense. She should own it rather than blame it on the ‘wording’.
