It’s been reported over the last 12 hours or so that President Trump is considering a 45-day ceasefire with Iran, which includes opening up the Strait of Hormuz:

As of an hour ago, the White House reiterates that this ceasefire is just one of many options on the table and that President Trump has not agreed to it:
