UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the UK will lead a defensive military mission with France in the Strait of Hormuz in order to ensure it remains open.

This is what Trump was referring to this morning, which is very much too little too late. The Strait is already open and free thanks to the US, so this defensive mission isn’t going to do much unless they intend to remian long after the US leaves, whenever that will be.
Iran can see the weakness oozing out of these countries and will use it to manipulate the heck out of them, just like they did with Biden.
