Back in March, the board that runs the Trump Kennedy Center voted to close the center for two years to complete renovations. It’s set to begin on July 4th.
But a federal judge just blocked the closing of the center:

The lawsuit was brought by Ohio Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, an ex member of the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees. The judge thinks she’ll succeed in her claim that the board violated its “fiduciary duty in voting to close” the center.
The judge is an Obama appointee. Of course.
