BREAKING: Federal Judge BLOCKS Trump subpoenas for Gov Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey

A federal judge just blocked Trump DOJ subpoenas issued Minnesota state officials like Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jack Frey.

According to the judge, the subpoenas required the production of records relating to enforcement of federal immigration laws going back to January 1, 2025.

The judge claimed these subpoenas were merely intended to harass these officials into helping with immigration enforcement.

Here’s the news via The Hill:

A federal judge in Minnesota has tossed out multiple Department of Justice (DOJ) grand jury subpoenas aimed at Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) and other officials in the state.

U.S. District Judge Patrick Schiltz wrote there was “no doubt” the DOJ issued the subpoenas to “harass” political opponents of President Trump into assisting his administration with its immigration enforcement agenda.

“And, of course, this campaign played out against the backdrop of the Trump administration’s well-established history of using criminal investigations to retaliate against and pressure the President’s political and personal adversaries,” Schiltz, an appointee of former President George W. Bush, added in a 29-page ruling.

The Hill has reached out to the DOJ for comment.

I hope they get this judicial block overturned at the appellate court. What these leftist did last year in antagonizing their people to fight against ICE was outrageous, and they should be held accountable.

The judge is a George W. Bush appointee.
