US Central Command just announced that the Strait of Hormuz is open and US military forces are in place to ensure it stays open, despite Iran’s terroristic actions.
Here’s what they wrote:
The Strait of Hormuz is open to all vessels seeking to lawfully transit the international waterway. U.S. forces are positioned and prepared to ensure that freedom of navigation remains available despite unwarranted Iranian aggression, harassment, threats, and arbitrary declarations. Iran does not control the strait. Traffic is flowing.

This comes after a heavy bombardment last night from the US on Iran, which was in response to the IRGC doing severe damage to a cargo ship when they tried to shut down the strait.
Trump hasn’t said anything yet on this Truth Social, but I would expect something about this soon.
