Ben Shapiro took to X today to call for the firing of the administration officials who leaked that the US is low on missile interceptors, arguing they are aiding Iran and hurting America’s position in negotiations.
Here’s what he said:
When you're leaking (falsely, according to President Trump) to CNN and the NYT and Barak Ravid that we're short on interceptors, you're helping Iran. Trump must track down and fire the leakers in his administration who continue to undermine his pursuit of America's interests.

Even if you're just looking for a better negotiated offramp here, leaking that America doesn't have the military arsenal to keep up the fight destroys all negotiating position. Fire the leakers today. Anyone who opposes that obvious position gives away the game.

President Trump told the WSJ that we are not low on interceptors and the leak is false:
Trump denied that dwindling munitions are a problem, insisting in a statement to The Wall Street Journal that “we have far more munitions than anyone in the world, and far more than we need.”
At the same time, the White House said national security would be at risk if news organizations reported updated U.S. government figures on Patriot and Thaad missile expenditures showing the high number of interceptors that have been used since the war began.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt and Sean Parnell, the Pentagon’s chief spokesman, insisted the military has everything it needs for any mission Trump chooses.
It’s just a matter of time before they find the leaker and I hope they aren’t just fired, but prosecuted.
