Prsident Trump got a question from a reporter today onboard Air Force One about why he wants the Senate to stay in town, and his initial response was “what a stupid question!”
He went on to explain it and here’s what he said:
The question wouldn’t have been so bad if she’d have put the focus of the question on Senate members campaigning instead of asking Trump why he wants them to stay in town, especially when he’s made that abundantly clear. So yeah, she deserves every bit of that.
As far as the four Republicans, it sounds like Trump is still hoping to get some of them to come over and vote for the Save America Act, which is why I think he’s holding his tongue.
