Kittyhawk. The Spruce Goose. Charles Lindbergh. The Apollo missions. And now this. England versus Peru, 2014.
Pow, right in the kisser. Pow, right in the kisser. Pow, right in the kisser!
This week, England faced off against Peru in England’s final match before the World Cup. Fans became bored with the game, and started making their own entertainment, throwing paper airplanes at the field. One group of fans decided to film their own flight, and that’s when the magic happened.
I don’t want to overstate the significance of a simple paper airplane thrown by English soccer hooligans in an otherwise unremarkable blowout, but this is definitely the most signficant thing to happen to soccer since David Beckham and Posh Spice something something. You’re welcome.
