El Presidente retweeted a video intended to show that reporters are faking their concern over the coronavirus because Kaitlan Collins of CNN took off her mask:
A CNN Faker! https://t.co/boSTXeIWcU
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 17, 2020
Collins claimed afterward that she only took it off for a few seconds:
Nearly 90,000 Americans have been killed by coronavirus, and the president is tweeting about me pulling my mask down for six seconds on Friday. https://t.co/UYib8tS7pO
— Kaitlan Collins (@kaitlancollins) May 18, 2020
Yeah, I don’t know if this is a smoking gun gotcha against Collins. I could see her taking off the mask for just a few seconds. Those things get annoying.
Remember, Collins is the reporter who had to apologize for using “homophobic slurs” on her twitter account in college. But that’s neither here nor there.
She also was the one who was banned from a White House press event after asking a question about Stormy Daniels:
I’m sure this gave Brian Stelter indigestion and he won’t be able to sleep all night over the unprecedented attack on the media, or something.
