A little music for your ears: Dick Morris sees landslide loss in Obama’s future

Lay it on us, sir. Many of us could use a pick-me-up right about now.

Never mind the fact that Morris supports this hot mess. Just enjoy the poll data, for what it’s worth.

Always enjoy listening to you, your comments give me hope that the insanity in Washington won’t go on forever. I didn’t vote for the bozo in Washington and hope, who ever runs against this guy takes this country back to some semblance of sanity.

Yes, but Dick Morris also predicted that the Republicans would win the House AND the Senate in the last election, so I don’t put a whole lotta stake in Dick’s predictions.

Breaking News! Dick Morris predicts McCain landslide victory!

It won’t matter who wins. YOU are not going to be reresented. You may THINK you are, but you are just being used. Wealth and power are served in America. Everyone else is busy paying for their ride or fighting their wars.

I’ll be glad if BO gets what’s comming to him, but his replacement will be the same souless POS killer regardless of which party (exception: R Paul)

I would not put too much stock with what Dick Morris says. I have heard his predictions on Hannity many times and he was always wrong. If the 2012 election is rigged AGAIN, there is not a damn thing anyone can do to stop Obama’s 2nd term. Pray people, and pray hard….

Why is Ron Paul never mentioned as a viable R candidate? M. Bachman but not R. Pual? He polls extremely well, but is never mentioned.

why do you think? he’s not sufficiently “pro-Israeli” to be a Rep. nominee. All Reps are pro-Likud and so are most Democrats. Ron Paul, on the other hand, doesn’t want to fight Israel’s wars–i.e. Iran. Therefore, he is toast.

Morris is spot on. Obama is toast. he is consistantly polling in the high 30’s and low 40’s in these states. He will not get above 45% of the vote in these states. The only way he wins is if a third-party idiot enters and syphons off votes.

Republicans need to wake up and start playing long ball. If someone can give me a proposal that gave the Tea Party everything they wanted while also being passed by the Senate and signed by Obama, I’m ready. So please stop crying over spilled milk that never existed in the first place. If you cannot achieve outright victory, you seek to weaken your opponent instead and strengthen the resolve of your own troops. One bee sting is painful. 1000 bee stings can kill the strongest lion. Each step we take towards fiscal conservatism, is like another bee sting on the left. It adds up. We have changed the conversation. The Tea Party is like a gravity well that dragged the Imperial Socialist Mothership out of hyperspace. They didn’t destroy the Death Star until the END of the movie. In 2012, we destroy the Death Star. Be patient. Support our brave… Read more »

We can only pray he loses and moves back to Africa where he belongs. And take that thing he’s married to along with him. Don’t underestimate him though because he’ll steal votes and continue taking illegal foreign campaign contributions to win like he did last time. He’s a leftard and we all know they cheat.

Team-reelect-Obama is still awfully good at gathering up entitlement class voters at the last minute who otherwise don’t pay attention. This election will come down to the wire.

Well the only southern border states that Obama has a chance is New Mexico and of course California. I do not think he wins NM and being here in Florida I know he is history here. This is a 35 EV pick up when McCain lost by 75 EV.

I doubt Obama can turn things around because the root of his problem is himself. He comes across as arrogant, unwilling to take advice and appears to have a total lack of understanding of the role of President of the United States. As the President he is not the simply the leader of the Democrats – he is supposed to President of all the people, and to that end be able to function in a bipartisan manner when required. He can’t! He’s swollen government, given to the banks and got nothing in return. His behavior during the Gull oil spill was deplorable. Small businesses which creates 70% of the jobs are getting no help, actually he’s making it more difficult. He hobnobs with greedy corporate executives and his friends leave a lot to be desired. Obama rammed Obamacare in and just as his opponents feared it supports abortion and in… Read more »

Look boys and girls you are acting as if the election is next week. We need all the good and honorable anti Obama people on our side. Weather it is Newt with his “food stamp” President message or Trump who just calls Obama a failure and so forth and so forth, Rubio, Bachmann, Perry, etc and I know I left out some like Paul and Cain. We also need more peolpe like the co founder of the Home Depot to speak up. The real battle will be in the major cities that house most of the African American vote, case in point, if Obama can carry Phila and Pittsburg he most likely wins PA. The election will be controlled by the LAZY voter. Obama already has all Government employees, Unions, African Americans and Wall Street types. If you are getting Obama stash you will vote for him, if you are… Read more »

Yeah, he predicted the Repubs would take the Senate in 2010, and it wasn’t even close. He just makes these outrageous predictions to get attention. It draws a crowd and pays his bills, I suppose. I actually really enjoy listening to his commentary but can’t take him too seriously.

He may not be ahead of perry/bachmann, but he is doing much better than you think. I am personally fine with Bachmann, but if Republicans nominate Romney then it cause a permanent fracture within the GOP and the start of a third party.

These polls are pretty much all with 2 to 3 point spreads. With the margin of error at 3 points, calling this a landslide is not credible.

Anonymous
Guest

The spread isn’t the issue–Obama is at around 42 percent in all the polls he mentioned. That’s really bad news for an incumbent.

Anonymous

Agreed. However, it’s not a landslide to my thinking.

We need more than this to overcome the predictable corruption of Democrat runoff procedures, sudden appearance of whole ballot boxes, etc. Mr. Morris is talking about 4 point differences in general.

Sorry, I’d love to be excited and optimistic about this, and while excited to hear it, I stay wary.

You can count on ACORN, SEIU, and certainly many unnamed other groups, stuffing their trunks with absentee ballets signed by Mickey Mouse and other dead and fictional people 1000s of them.

We must be constantly on the lookout during this critical time for voter fraud. Remember especially all those that are against Voter ID and ask yourself why.

Morris maybe a bit flaky but generally his analysis is rock-solid…The guy is a brilliant political operative and I’m glad he’s shifted to our side. While I’m certain that he’s not a true conservative, seeing Obama flounder is probably one of his great joys these days (see: Clintons)…

Why is Morris and the Media pushing Romney on the voters?

Anonymous

Romney is a RINO. I pray that he is not the Republican candidate.

Anonymous
Guest

Someone please explain to me how nominating a candidate from the farther right that would drive independents back to Obama is a good idea.

McCain would have beaten him in ’08 if it hadn’t been for the sub-prime mortgage meltdown causing the economy to hit the skids at exactly the wrong moment.

Anonymous
Guest
Anonymous

Mc Cain is a RINO joke.

I think the elites arranged it so that obama would go up against MC Cain because Mc Cain didn’t stand a chance. Mc Cain is infamous for his hot temper and debating skills and going for the jugular of his opponents. Yet when Mc Cain went up against obama, Mc Cain cow towed and refused to debate obama in a serious way. And if anyone said anything bad yet truthful about obama in
Mc Cain’s group, he chastised them and fired them. Mc Cain was a sham candidate- all part of the fix up to install the Manchurian President.

The American people had the choice of voting left or voting left…two sides of the same coin.

Anonymous
Guest
Anonymous

That all may be true.
What is also true is that McCain was leading Obama in the polls until the economy hit the fan.
No Republican would have been able to win after that.
I don’t like RINOs any more than you do, but I’m a realist, and the sad fact of the matter is the moderates are the only hope of beating Obama.
The independents will not support a Perry, Palin, or Bachmann, and we cannot win without their support, unfortunately.

yeah… my understanding is that Romney ain’t that front running anymore. What the hell’s Morris talking about?

And those polling numbers on Obama… I find it damn discouraging that so many idiots still exist in America to support him. In the 40’s is still too damn high as far as I’m concerned considering the destruction he has wrecked on America.

During the 2010 run up, I turned to my wife and said it looks like the tea party is going to make a real difference. She agreed and said we would probably gain 60-70 seats in the House. WOW! What a political genius she is. Me too, because I agreed with her. Dick Morris said we would gain as many as 100 seats. My wife and I get paid bumpkis and were right. Morris gets paid tons and was wrong. Again. I like listening to the guy, but I feel like I have to wash my hands after a few minutes. He is very sleazy. He is behaving now cause that’s where the money is, but he is very capable and accustomed to running on the Dark Side. BTW, everybody with 2 brain cells to rub together was right about 2010, it was not a hard prediction.
