ABC News is now reporting that Ryan Lochte and his Olympic swimming companions lied about being robbed. There is now video of one of the swimmers in a fight with a security guard at a gas station:
ABC NEWS – As the police investigation continues into the alleged robbery of U.S. Olympic swimmers in Rio, a Brazilian police source told ABC News that “one of the swimmers was seen on CCTV footage breaking down the door to the bathroom at the gas station and fighting with a security guard” on the night of the incident.

It’s important to note that when the swimmers initially gave their stories to the Brazilian police, according to ABC News, they were so drunk they couldn’t even give a description of the guy who robbed them.
Lochte is back in the US while his partners in crime are still being detained in Rio.
