Over the weekend we showed you CBS’s Margaret Brennan trying to blame the Paul Pelosi attack on the ‘toxic rhetoric’ from the right. It was disgusting, but she’s not alone.
This morning ABC News tried to connect the attack on Pelosi to Trump, suggesting 2020 election conspiracies and January 6th might be to blame:
The liberal media's goal today? To inform viewers that tens of millions of conservatives and their elected leaders are the REAL perpetrator and attack of Paul Pelosi.
Here's some of ABC's 'Good Morning America.'
It's a criminalization of dissent. Don't vote D? You're violent. pic.twitter.com/8FuFncGqoE

ABC News says “while no specific motive has been identified, the circumstances are eerily similar to the January 6th attack…”
They then show footage from January 6th, specifically footage where someone was yelling ‘oh Nancy’ as they suggest this Pelosi attacker might have been trying to take Nancy hostage, just like on January 6th.
ABC News adds that conspiracy theories for COVID-19, the 2020 election and the federal government were found on his social media pages.
They also suggest that this is part of a bigger ‘toxic moment’ of threats against elected officials that started building in 2017, the first year that Trump was president.
ABC News is doing their damnedest to make this guy seem like a Trumper. They says that not motive has been identified but then they try to invent one.
What don’t they mention? Any of the actual reporting done that suggests Depape was on the left, with him living with a nudist in a commune or his drug use and “psychotic and paranoid” behavior.
They even threw Elon Musk under the bus by mentioning a story he linked to that he later deleted, suggesting something more nefarious at work between Pelosi and the attacker.
The segment continues below…
Here's more from ABC's 'Good Morning America.' The liberal media and the federal government have tag-teamed to argue "radicalized individuals" are on the rise because of — you guessed it — 2020 and January 6.
In other words, tens of millions of conservatives are dangerous. pic.twitter.com/ey2kkC6DzM

And here’s CBS essentially doing the same thing this morning, replaying Brennan’s attack from yesterday on a Republican…
And here was 'CBS Mornings," which also didn't mention the suspect's history of drug use and mental illness or that he was a nudist from ultra-liberal Berkeley who lived in a commune.
Instead, it's blaming a Minnesota Republican Congressman for somehow inspiring this nutjob. pic.twitter.com/azBEFcPh6Q
