Yeah, they’re giving the Covid-19 vaccine to Gitmo detainees WELL in advance of whenever the rest of us Joe Schmoes are getting it. (Biden can’t seem to decide if we get a shot at the shot in spring or summer or some other season that only exists in his world, but the media doesn’t care about his confusion.)
So we don’t know when most Americans will get it, except that it wont’ be spring like Biden said. But terrorists? They’re on the VIP access list. The Biden administration has confirmed that vaccines will be given to Guantanamo Bay detainees and a spokesman for the Department of Defense says detainees are getting the shot under “the Department’s priority distribution plan.”
As Daily Mail notes, that INCLUDES “Al Qaeda terrorists and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.” And they’re getting it next week.
Prosecutor Clayton Trivett Jr, who is leading the case against five terrorists behind the September 11 attacks, made the disclosure in a letter to defense lawyers Thursday.
‘[A]n official in the Pentagon has just signed a memo approving the delivery of the Covid-19 vaccine to the detainee population Guantánamo,’ he wrote, according to the New York Times.
“You can’t make this up,” said former New York City Fire Commissioner Tom Von Essen, who served during 9/11 and lost 343 firefighters that day. “The ridiculousness of what we get from our government. They will run the vaccine down to those lowlifes at Guantanamo Bay before every resident of the United States of America gets it is the theater of the absurd.”
On KSM getting the vaccine, Essen said “It’s f—ing nuts.”
Here’s more from the Post.
John Feal, a demolition supervisor at the Ground Zero pile in the aftermath of the attacks who has various 9/11-related illnesses, and who has not yet gotten the vaccine, was stunned by the news.
“The fact that the 9/11 community can’t get the vaccine and the terrorists can show how backward our government is,” he told The Post. “It’s the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever heard. It’s an insult to the people who ran into the towers and were killed and those who worked on the pile for months and are ill.”
And Daily Mail.
Rep. Elise Stefanik, the Republican representative for New York’s 21st congressional district, said: ‘It is inexcusable and un-American that President Biden is choosing to prioritize convicted terrorists in Gitmo over vulnerable American seniors or veterans.’
Retired New York firefighter Lt. Michael O’Connell – who was involved with search and rescue on 9/11 – told the Post: ‘It’s absolutely disgusting.
‘These terrorists committed harm but the patriots are the one who have to wait to get vaccinated.’
Retired FDNY Lt. Michael O’Connell, who worked search and rescue when the towers fell, contracted sarcoidosis, an auto immune disease, in the ashes of that terror. His comments to the Post are perfect.
“This is a real kick in the balls,” he said. “It’s very upsetting. It’s absolutely disgusting.”
Yeah. It is.
