House Leader KEVIN McCarthy was pretty clear that Steve King is going to face some consequences for the comments he made about white supremacy.
Check out what he said:

“Action will be taken.”
There are quite a few people on the left calling for King to step down, I think that’s a little ridiculous. It’s clear he misspoke, I very much doubt he is a full blown white supremacist. I mean, he hung out with Cuban Canadian Ted Cruz!! Most white supremacists are a little more circumspect about who they hang out with. On the other hand, what he said was pretty terrible, especially at a time when the right is being accused of harboring white supremacists and their ideas. It definitely makes me reconsider all the times I defended him in the past.
We’ll have to see if McCarthy is serious, and what consequences King is going to feel for his insane comment.
Here’s the video of the entire segment:
He makes a good argument against Democrats on the government shutdown and the wall.
UPDATE!!
SOME of you people are giving me grief for not being down with white supremacy. Nice. Anyway, Ted Cruz, longtime friend of King, also called him out:

From the Hill:
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Sunday condemned Rep. Steve King’s (R-Iowa) remarks about white supremacy, calling them “stupid” and saying that King “needs to stop.”
Cruz also said lawmakers should be “united regardless of party” in calling white supremacy and white nationalism “hatred” and “bigotry.”
“What Steve King said was stupid. It was stupid, it was hurtful, it was wrong. And he needs to stop it,” Cruz said during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“I think all of us ought to be united, regardless of party, in saying white supremacism, white nationalism is hatred, it is bigotry, it is evil, it is wrong,” Cruz added. “And I think we need that clarity. And I’m certainly going to urge everyone to provide that clarity.”
Yes, Cruz is well known Canadian Supremacist, but if HE thinks this is bad, surely we can’t just act like this is media bias…
