Rob DeSantis, after a huge election victory, just game his new socialist opponent ammo to use against him, even though I’m sure it was unintentional.
Here’s what he said:

What exactly DeSantis said was this:
“Let’s build off the success we’ve had on Gov. Scott. The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases bankrupting the state. That is not going to work.”
He was clearly talking about the socialist policies of his opponent rather than his opponent’s skin color, but of course Democrats are jumping on this like it’s the most racist thing since slavery.
It also doesn’t help, however, that Fox News has since come out and said they don’t condone the language DeSantis used, while pointing out his clarification of his comments:
Regardless of what he really meant, Democrats now have ammo they will use beat up on DeSantis for the next 2 months and call him a racist, tying him to the ridiculous narrative that Trump is also racist.
Ugh.
