Ocasio-Cortez can’t stop being wrong about things. It’s basically her brand. The latest example isn’t about having no idea how the government is structured, or where countries are located in the world, but instead is right in her supposed wheelhouse: healthcare.
She’s one of the liberal newcomers who ran on implementing socialism and redistributing everything. She wants free college, free healthcare, free donuts, whatever. Somehow once everything is free rich people will still be making money, so they’ll just give that money away and then we’re all happy in utopia because, like, omigosh.
But the new glorified teenager set apparently isn’t as expert as their foolish constituents believed.
Insurance groups are recommending GoFundMe as official policy - where customers can die if they can’t raise the goal in time - but sure, single payer healthcare is unreasonable.

Just so you understand the elements here, she’s saying this from an insurer death panel deeming a person an unfit candidate based on cost. Sounds bad right? Does it also sound wrong? Because the wrong part is pretty important.
This wasn’t an insurer, @Ocasio2018, the letter is from the transplant committee. And they're likely requiring a $10k reserve because of the significant out-of-pocket costs MEDICARE imposes on patients. https://t.co/OcW5q84Dvp

It wasn’t what she said in any way. It’s the transplant committee, not the insurer, and the reason the cost is prohibitive is the government-run healthcare part. The panel is recommending the candidate raise funds in order to cover that cost imposed by Medicare. Whichs is from the government, if that wasn’t clear.
The letterhead indicates this is from Spectrum Health. @SpectrumHealth is a non-profit healthcare system in Michigan. Lest there be any confusion over which division of Spectrum is at play, the signature block indicates this is the "Heart and Lung Specialized Care Clinics" pic.twitter.com/HbiIVEHeuZ

I bet you’re thinking she corrected it after she found out she had all the details wrong, but you just lost that bet because nope.
And anyway they don’t learn from mistakes.

Liberals and CNN are fawning all over Ocasio-Cortez for “clapping back” on her critics via social media. What they mean is that when she screws up every single detail, which is every time she talks about anything other than shoes, she just whines about being harassed and refuses to correct herself or learn the correct thing.
In other words, she’s the archetypal liberal.
