I have to make a correction – earlier I reported that there was only one big stupid thing said on the Melissa Harris Perry show today, but I was wrong wrong wrong. She also spearheaded this little bit of race-baiting idiocy.

Yes of course, the only reason that America is changing its attitude about drugs is because more drug addicts are white. Because all drug addicts where minorities back in the eighties, as we all know. It’s pretty clear that Perry was serving a softball when she asked the question because the only answer they were looking for is, raaaaacccisssm!!!
But even more amazing is that these are the same people who have been demanding that we take a second look at drug sentencing. Now that some are actually doing it, they say it’s only being done because of racism!!! Ya can’t win even when you do what they want. Incredible.
By the way, she was referencing this viral video from Chris Christie talking about addiction, and probably also this story about family addiction from Ted Cruz.
