Trump tweets about Morning Joe again for the second day in a row, suggesting this time that Joe Scarborough called Trump to see if he could put the brakes on an article in the National Enquirer. Of course Trump said “I said no!”:
Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in long time. FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 30, 2017
Doesn’t Trump know that he’s only getting more people to tune into their show by constantly hitting them on Twitter? He clearly has a personal beef with Morning Joe and Mika, but he’s helping them out with all this attention.
In other news. Trump also tweeted this earlier this morning:
If Republican Senators are unable to pass what they are working on now, they should immediately REPEAL, and then REPLACE at a later date!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 30, 2017
I would totally go for a full repeal now and a replacement later. And it’s nice to see him finally push for an actual repeal (if that’s what he means).
Rand Paul loves the idea too:
I have spoken to @realDonaldTrump & Senate leadership about this and agree. Let's keep our word to repeal then work on replacing right away.
— Senator Rand Paul (@RandPaul) June 30, 2017
But I don’t think Senators nor House members will go for this at all. It’s too politically risky for them if they can’t agree on a replacement. I mean that’s the whole reason why the bill is in such dire straits already, because they don’t want to repeal significant portions of it because all they care about is their power.
