And just like that, we’re back to Obama-size deficits 😞😞😞

The CBO is out with a new report that estimates the budget deficit for this year at just under a trillion and the budget deficit for next year to exceed a trillion:

THE BLAZE – America is set to add $800 billion more than previously expected to the national debt over the next 10 years, according to new numbers released Wednesday by the Congressional Budget Office.

Specifically, the agency’s new calculations put the projected deficit for 2019-2029 to be $809 billion greater than projections made in May; while the estimate for this year’s deficit is now $63 billion higher at $960 billion.

The report also estimates that the U.S. will run a total 10-year deficit of $12.2 trillion instead of the $11.4 trillion projected back in may.

The increase, the CBO said, has been brought about by the combination of the recent, deficit-expanding budget deal that Congress passed earlier this month and the emergency border funding package passed in June.

All this thanks to the recent budget deal that passed both the House and the Senate that raised the caps on spending for the next two years.

The CBO is also predicting that the “average deficit for the rest of the decade will sit around $1.2 trillion.”

So just like that, we’re effectively back to the Obama-sized budget deficits that Republicans hated, at least while Obama was president. Now that Trump is president we suddenly can’t get rid of Obamacare and are spending just as much as he did. Yipee.
