Another Democrat Gov gets the message, dumps mask mandate for his entire state

Another Democratic governor has gotten the message in his election year and has dumped his mask mandate for the entire state:

DC EXAMINER – Gov. Steve Sisolak repealed Nevada’s statewide mask mandate, announcing the move in a tweet.

Nevadans can now visit public places without a mask starting Thursday, more than five months after the mandate was enacted.

“We have seen a rapid decline in case of numbers coupled with declining hospitalizations; a drop of COVID-19 detected in wastewater, and a broader availability of testing and available treatments,” Sisolak said.

Federal mask mandates are still in effect in airports, planes, and public buses. Sisolak left the onus to private employers to remove or maintain their mandates.

“Let me be clear — the State will no longer require masks in public places, but employers and organizations, including school districts, may set their own policies,” Sisolak said. “I encourage them to work with their employees and communities to ensure that policies are in place.”

Mask mandates are falling like dominoes in Democratic states and we all know why. They’ve got to do everything they can for as long as they can to try and turn the political tide that’s going to wash them ashore like a beached whale.

So which Democrat governor will be next?
