3/ The father, per the consul, confirmed the DHS timeline that Jakelin did not show any signs of distress until about 5am when they were placed on the bus to ride from the border checkpoint to the border patrol station 95 miles away.

There it is. Even if the father hadn’t admitted that the Border Patrol did nothing wrong, there was zero evidence that they had treated her badly – but the media tried its very hardest to imply it was Border Patrol’s fault.
Now watch how little they cover this development as opposed to the original story.
