Yesterday Joe Manchin put out a tweet declaring he’s fully against the defund police movement, calling it “some crazy socialist agenda”:

Her tweet is getting a lot of attention including from Ted Cruz, who ain’t buying what she’s trying to sell:

I do think AOC is truly annoyed with Manchin’s refusal to bow down to the socialist agenda, even calling it ‘crazy’. But Cruz is also right to point out that the socialist left now controls the party and that Schumer will be doing their bidding for fear that AOC will come after his seat, directly or indirectly. AOC has already said this year that she doesn’t want to be in the House forever, signaling she’s likely headed for the Senate. Schumer’s seat is likely target numero uno, because he’s part of the ‘old guard’ and we all know that AOC wants to replace the ‘old guard’ with a bunch of socialist revolutionaries, like herself.
