Armed intruder SHOT in the FACE during home invasion attempt in Cleveland

An attempted home invasion did not work out well for one of two armed intruders because the guy they targeted happened to also be armed, and shot him in the face.

Here’s more from FOX-8:

An armed intruder was shot in the face during a home invasion attempt at a home in Summit County, according to the sheriff.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of a shooting in the 3900 block of Mayfair Road Friday.

According to the sheriff’s office, the homeowners said two armed robbers attempted to assault them inside their apartment.

The sheriff reports one homeowner shot a suspect in the face.

BUT there’s one detail that makes me think this may not be a case of a good guy with a gun taking down a bad guy with a gun. Here’s what it is:

A second suspect got away, according to a press release.

The suspect who was shot in the face was hospitalized.

According to police, the homeowner who shot the suspect faces charges for drug trafficking and possession.

22-year-old Darian Crisp was arrested.

Now maybe it’s just overzealous prosecution, but that makes me think that perhaps these scumbags were targeting his home because they were selling drugs. Pure conjecture on my part.

Either way, that guy who got shot in the face was likely not contributing much to society….
