A DoorDash delivery driver may be facing a felony after he recorded himself contaminating a cop’s food, even suggesting he did it in a perverse way:
The driver stuck a note in the cop’s food that said “Hope that d-k taste good bitch!”, which suggests he stuck his – you know – on the food.
The officer, of course, threw the food in the trash.
In an update from the NY Post tonight, they say the former DoorDash drive has been arrested:
The now-former DoorDash driver suspected of contaminating an NYPD employee’s Chipotle order with his bare hands — and possibly far worse — is in custody, police sources said Thursday.
The alleged lunch-order saboteur — whose name is being withheld because he has yet to be formally charged with a crime — was being grilled Thursday afternoon at Brooklyn’s 61st Precinct station house in Sheepshead Bay, sources said.
That’s the same cop shop at which the driver, 30, is suspected of dropping off the befouled order on Monday afternoon.
A video posted to Facebook showed the driver opening up what appeared to be a burrito bowl and reaching inside with his unprotected mitts to insert a small, handwritten note that implied the order was further tainted.
“Hope that d-k taste good bitch!” read the note, misspelling a common crude term for the male genitalia.
The Facebook post — which included a screenshot of the DoorDash app detailing the order — suggested a grudge against the precinct, or at least cops in general.
“Ya kno I’m bout to violate the s–t out this order 61st precient [sic],” it was captioned. “I dreamed of moments like this … god u been so good to me like idk how to re pay u.”
A DoorDash spokeswoman said Wednesday that the driver had been booted from their service.
In the video above they report the unnamed drive could be charged with reckless endangerment, which is a felony. I hope to hell he is and that he spends a few years thinking about what he’s done from the inside of a jail cell. Of course it’s New York, so he’ll probably get off with a warning.
