Nancy Pelosi is one of the most despicable Democrats ever to control the House of Representatives and every Republican should be up in arms over what she just said:

In a shameful attempt to justify why Democrats won’t be supporting Republican legislation on police reform, Pelosi says that Republicans are “trying to get away with murder, actually, the murder of George Floyd”.
Pelosi simply doesn’t want to support this Republican legislation because all she can think about is the 2020 election, and the last thing she wants is for Republicans to be able to say they led in a bipartisan way on police reform. She doesn’t want Republicans to be able to own the moment because she knows it could have big repercussions in November. It’s all about politics with her. But in order to try and hide that she uses abominable language such as this.
CNN asked Rep. Pramila Jayapal, another despicable Democrat, about this audio and she defended Pelosi’s statement by saying that Republicans are only putting out half measures and therefore are “absolutely letting people get away with murder”:
Notice that Jayapal tweaked the language a bit, saying Republicans are “letting people get away with murder” rather than they are “trying to get away with murder,” as Pelosi said. Both are completely absurd, but I think this slight rewording just goes to show you how despicable Pelosi’s comments were, such that even her fellow comrades have trouble saying them exactly as she did.
UPDATE: MSNBC confronted Pelosi about her despicable statement, saying that Republicans were demanding that she apologize. Of course she refused, but watch to the end:
When Pelosi was asked if Senator Tim Scott was working in good faith, Pelosi replied “I’m talking about Mitch McConnell! I’m talking about Mitch McConnell!” Of course she is, because she doesn’t want it to look like she’s attacking the one black Republican who actually wrote the bill, one who has admitted that he’s been targeted by police due to the color of his skin. So she switches it to Mitch McConnell because Democrats loathe him and he’s white. Amazing.
