[AUDIO] Patrick Madrid explains why “Once Saved Always Saved” is wrong and unbiblical

Last week Catholic apologist Patrick Madrid had a caller on his radio show bring up the Christian belief called ‘Eternal Security’, otherwise known as “Once Saved Always Saved”.

Madrid explained to the caller that this ‘tradition of men’, as he called it, is a misunderstanding of scripture and is unbiblical. I was so impressed with his explanation, as he unpacked it using scripture, that I thought some of you would want to hear it.

The audio below starts at the point in the call where the issue of eternal security comes up. It may sound like the audio starts in the middle of the call – that’s because it does. I was trying to keep it as short as possible.

At about 6:30 Madrid takes a break but then comes right back and continues discussing it with even more compelling scripture passages.

It runs just over 15 minutes so be sure and listen to the full audio if you have time. It’s definitely worth it.

If you liked the audio above you should listen to his show. It airs live (9AM – 12PM ET) daily or you can listen via his daily podcast.
