Australia forces not-fully-vaccinated into draconian lockdown, says they can’t even leave home for WORK

The totalitarian leaders of Australia’s Northern Territory are cracking down hard on those who are still unvaccinated AND not fully vaccinated, telling them they must stay home at all times with few exceptions. One of those exceptions used to be to go to work, but not anymore:

According to Chief Minister Michael Gunner, persons who are not fully vaccinated can only leave home to get groceries and essential services, to get medical treatment including COVID testing and vaccination, and to provide care and support for a family member who cannot provide it for themselves. Gunner adds that when they do leave home, they cannot travel more than 30 kilometers (~19 miles).

Gunner emphasizes that work is no longer a reason to leave home like it used to be for those who are not fully vaccinated. And the one hour of exercise every four days that used to be allowed is no longer considered essential.

In other words, if someone doesn’t get vaccinated in the Northern Territory they can no longer work. Which means for those who don’t work out of their homes, which I suspect would be most of them, at some point they’ll be unable to afford the groceries and essential services they are still allowed to leave home for.

Isn’t Australia great!
