‘AUTONOMOUS ZONE’: NY Pub REFUSES to close, DEFIES license by making drinks FREE, and DARES Cuomo, De Blasio to come stop them

Covid may have most bars and nightclubs locked down, but all year long we’ve seen protest movements (from the left) go unchecked and, more importantly, un-criticized by the media and the scientific community.

Since those elites obviously know better than us plebes, it’s only reasonable to conclude scientifically that there is a medical immunity to Covid imparted by the process of becoming a radical protester. And so it is in that scientific tradition that Keith McAlarney has declared his Staten Island pub an “autonomous zone.”

In a MUST WATCH YouTube video posted this weekend, they took it even one step further. Not only are they refusing to close, but after the gov’t retaliated by pulling their liquor license, they decided to GIVE THEIR FOOD AND DRINK AWAY FOR FREE.

“Doesn’t seem like we can do business. So here’s what we’re going to do for everybody. We’re going to give everything away for free! So now you can come to Mac’s Public House, and you can eat for free, and you can drink for free. We just ask that you do make a donation towards us so that we can still pay our bills.”

“Keep sending your agencies, because they’re not allowed in, and we’re still gonna be here.”

Here’s more from the New York Post:

“!ATTENTION! We hereby declare this establishment an !!!AUTONOMOUS ZONE!!!” read signs outside and around Mac’s Public House in Grant City, invoking a phrase more commonly associated with the monthlong occupation of Capitol Hill in the Emerald City by anti-cop radicals. “We refuse to abide by any rules and regulations put forth by the Mayor of NYC and Governor of NY State.”

It’s not a small step. But, again, it’s definitely supported by MONTHS of data. If news headlines and woke proclamations are data, and I think we all know in our CNN culture they definitely are.

Restrictions, including the prohibition of indoor dining in bars and restaurants, took effect Wednesday.

But Mac’s balked, and defiantly kept its doors open — despite being slapped with thousands of dollars in fines, a shut-down order from the state Health Department and the Friday revocation of its liquor license by the State Liquor Authority, the owners said.

“At this point, we’re OK with it, because we’re not paying it,” the bar’s co-owner Danny Presti said according to the Post, in referring to the fines imposed as punishment. He said the sheriff’s department is “issuing us $1,000 fines, so they keep coming back. We’re still here. We’re not letting them in.”

“We’re not backing down. You think you scared me by the fact that you’re saying I don’t have a license now to serve liquor now? Well guess what? That liquor license is on the wall. If that liquor license is gonna come off the wall, it’s gonna be done by Cuomo. You wanna come down here and pull that license off the wall? Or DeBozo, you wanna come down here and pull that license off the wall? Feel free to end up coming down and we’ll have a conversation before you even think about stepping foot on my property. I will NOT back down.”

Awesome. COME AND TAKE IT.

Guess what: you can’t trap the part of the population they don’t like indoors for months while allowing the part they do like to rampage through the streets. Well they can’t do that and not expect open rebellion.

Sorry, libs and CNN. Your plan isn’t working. REAL Americans have business to do, church to attend, and schools to open. Comply our get out of the away. That’s not advice. It’s a warning.
