Beck has said several times this week to get Michele Bachmann on the phone because he heard she was going to vote no on the debt ceiling. Given the dire consequences of not raising the debt ceiling I figured it would be interesting to hear her response on that since those consequences could be the outcome of her vote. But alas, if you can’t tell, I am a bit disappointed.
Beck did ask her why she was voting no but he never challenged her in respect to the ‘dire consequences’. I already agree with her on principle but practically speaking it’s a different story. Basically Beck dropped the ball on a potentially great interview.
He did ask her whether she is running for president, but she gave the same non-answer although Beck did throw out a funny comment toward the end regarding her becoming president.
