Ben and Jerry’s has just created a new anti-Trump ice cream flavor called ‘pecan resist’.
It’s ridiculous:
TMZ – The famous ice cream company unveiled an anti-Trump flavored ice cream Tuesday morning in D.C. dubbed “Pecan Resist.”
B&J’s says, “This flavor supports groups creating a more just and equitable nation for us all, and who are fighting President Trump’s regressive agenda.”
The company also said it could not be silent in the face of Trump’s policies that attack and attempt to roll back decades of progress on racial and gender equity. The company cited its fight against Trump’s administration to roll back LGBT rights and its refusal to battle climate change.
Anything goes in liberal America when they have a president in office they don’t like. This stuff would have been widely condemned as racist or something if it happened under Obama. But the left loses its sense of patriotism as soon as a Republican becomes president.
I normally don’t buy Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and I most certainly won’t now. I don’t know if that qualifies as a boycott or not, but if I have a real hankering for some good expensive ice cream I’ll just grab a pint of Butter Pecan from Häagen-Dazs.
