Wow the media is really racking up some points for the Democratic party based on the question the Donald got in his townhall rally about Muslims. This morning F. Chuck Todd got Carson to say that Islam was incompatible with the U.S. Constitution and a Muslim should not be allowed to be president.
While he seems pretty reasonable in that position given how extreme the Koran is, this just lit a firestorm as Muslim groups came out of the woodwork to criticize him:

But, it doesn’t look like he’s backing down:
"Dr. Carson stands by those comments this morning and does not believe Islam is consistent with our Constitution," Carson's camp tells ABC.

I don’t see a problem here. And neither do many Americans:
The wisdom of so publicly excluding an entire religion from the presidency aside, Carson has plenty of people who feel just like he does. A Gallup poll in June showed 38 percent of Americans said they would not support a Muslim candidate for president. The only less-desirable characteristics tested were being an atheist (40 percent) and a socialist (50 percent).
But you can bet the press is gonna make as much as they can out of this in order to hurt the GOP. Bastards.
