Ben Sasse makes the classic libertarian and economic argument against tariffs, and Bret Baier really presses him on it – much more than he presses on Trump proponents.
Sasse then continued on to talk about the natural law understanding of the source of our constitutional rights in order to slap down Trump’s absurd statement about due process yesterday.
Baier then went on and on about how great Trump is, and Sasse, to his credit, acknowledged all the good things Trump has done. He also explained why the difference between Trump sycophants and his critics are not just because of his tone. The whole segment is really worth listening to, no matter what side you’re on.
