Benny Hinn RENOUNCES prosperity gospel, vows to never again ask for money

Benny Hinn has just renounced the very prosperity gospel he’s been preaching his entire life, even calling it an offense to God:

I’m glad Hinn has come to his senses. It’s sad that it has taken this long, but I won’t knock the man for finally coming to the truth. He sounded sincere and his doctrine, as much as he put forth in this clip, aligns with what the Bible teaches in my opinion.

For example, he’s dead on right when he says the true gospel message is about putting our flesh to death. Jesus is more than clear that we must deny our flesh and take up our cross – it’s at the very heart of the beatitudes. And this is completely antithetical to the prosperity gospel which seeks to inflate our ‘self’ and our ‘wallets’.

The only thing I didn’t hear him mention, and perhaps he did in a longer clip or maybe he will in the future, is what to do with the riches that he’s put in his ‘storehouses’ because of the prosperity gospel. The Daily Mail says Hinn is said to be worth 60 million. If he’s truly repentant and intends to take up his cross and deny his flesh, I would expect him to give loads of that to charity. I mean like nearly all of his money. If he does that, then it will be more than clear that he is truly repentant. I pray that is in his heart. Time will tell.
