Bernie Sanders has finally admitted just how much his socialist Medicare For All plan will actually cost and it’s a behemoth.
Bernie said that MFA would cost between 30-40 trillion over ten years, which is between 3 and 4 trillion each year for this ONE program.
Just to put that in perspective, the federal government collects around 4 trillion TOTAL every year in taxes. That’s for everything, but Bernie wants to spend it all on his socialist government-run healthcare system that will create long lines and ration care to the ‘fittest’. What about Defense? Social Security? Welfare?
Also notice how Bernie pits the gargantuan cost of MFA against Obamacare, which he claims will cost even MORE money if we continue down that road. He says 50 trillion, which I don’t believe for a flat second. No doubt it will be expensive to continue with Obamacare, but I doubt it would exceed the cost of MFA.
No, what Bernie is doing is trying to come up with a counter argument that makes his idea sound less insane, because that’s what it is, INSANE. And I don’t think the American people are dumb enough to fall for it.
