Biden claims again he was shot at overseas even though he walked it back in the past

Biden is once again telling people he was shot at overseas even though he’s had to walked it back after saying it in the past:

DAILY CALLER – President Joe Biden on Thursday said that he had been “shot at” while overseas, resurfacing a claim he first made during the 2008 presidential race.

“You have great personal courage. I’ve been with some of you when we’ve been shot at,” Biden told the State Department aides.

Biden first made the claim during a 2007 Democratic primary presidential debate, where he said that he had been “shot at” inside Baghdad’s Green Zone.

“Number one, you take all the troops out – you better have helicopters ready to take those 3,000 civilians inside the Green Zone, where I have been seven times and shot at,” he said. “You better make sure you have protection for them, or let them die.”

He later walked back his remark, saying that he was “near where a shot landed” while visiting the Green Zone in 2005. He also said that been in near-shooting instances on three separate occasions, including one where a shot landed outside a building where he and other senators were located.

What is it with politicos and newsers, that they always have to lie about their importance by claiming they were shot at overseas? Let’s ask Brian Williams.

In any event, I’m sure the folks at CNN are already making a list of Biden’s lies and will add this to the list, just like they did with Trump. Can’t wait to hear the number of lies in a year they are documenting!

The Daily Caller also reminds us this isn’t his first lie:

The claim was not Biden’s first that was at least slightly exaggerated. He has also had to walk back claims regarding his participation in the Civil Rights Movement and his rank among his fellow students in his law school class, according to the New York Times.

Just add those to the list CNN!
