Biden Energy Sec makes ridiculous comment about Russian war on Ukraine

A Democrat once said never let a crisis go to waste and that’s exactly what Biden’s energy secretary is trying to do with Russia’s war on Ukraine:

Granholm was asked about what they could get through Congress regarding clean energy given there isn’t much time left before the elections.

Here’s what she said:

“…This crisis in Europe and the crisis our allies are facing and the reduction of supply of natural gas and oil from Russia creates a moment that we should be acting. I mean we heard President Zelensky. We do not want to see any country that is held hostage to Vladimir Putin and this is a moment for Congress to be able to act.”

For Granholm to suggest that Congress must transition us to clean energy because of the Ukraine war is preposterous.

Yes, this is an urgent moment to act. But NOT to force the country into expensive clean energy with high gas prices. It’s a moment for the Biden administration to act, to take the reins off the American gas and oil industry so that we can once again become energy independent and big supplier to the world.

Finish the Keystone pipeline! Start granting oil and gas drilling permits again. Give Russia a run for their money on producing oil and gas! The world will be a better place!
