Biden suggested today in his Atlanta speech, the one Stacey Abrams declined to attend, that he was arrested as an activist during the civil rights movement:

He was clearly suggesting he’d been arrested during the civil rights movement just to ingratiate himself with blacks. But that never happened.
The Intercept put together a video of Biden lying about this in the past and then, after getting caught, disavowing it. He then started lying about it again during his tenure as Obama’s VP and has been lying about it since, including today:
