Biden official spills beans on GAS prices, deletes tweet, then disappears entire Twitter account. Too bad internet is forever.

A Biden State Department official quote retweeted Joe Biden talking about gas prices and said the quiet part out loud in a tweet he later deleted before locking and then DELETING his account.

But the cat is out of the bag. The beans are spilled. Well… I mean we already knew this, and Biden officials have not done a good job at all of keeping it secret. It’s just that this Alan Eyre guy said it so explicitly.

He was called out by hundreds of people, including California Republican Ron Bassilian, who called him a ghoul, as Fox News notes:

Eyre’s tweet was widely criticized on social media including from former Republican California state senate candidate Ron Bassilian who called Eyre a “ghoul” and pointed out that gas demand is “inelastic.”

“Perhaps, but I don’t think it is inelastic and I remember in the 1970s the oil embargo led to a massive increase in renewables,” Eyre responded along with the hashtag #BeKind.

Basilian responded with criticism that was echoed by several other Twitter users pointing out that gas prices have caused significant struggles for Americans across the country.

“Be kind?” Basslian said. “Perhaps be kind to the billions of people left high and dry in this situation you praise. Saying a famine is a good way to start a diet is not kind.”

I guarantee you Eyre’s deactivation of his account was by request or command. Biden’s administration wants to pretend they think gas prices should be lower, while using gas prices to bash oil companies and cozy up to the Saudis. Can’t have State Department folks giving the game away so openly.
