Biden vetoed a bill today that was passed by Republicans in the House and Senate along with three Democrats who crossed party lines to get the bill to Biden’s desk.
And then he proceeded to lie about the bill while taking a shot at MTG:
I just vetoed my first bill.
This bill would risk your retirement savings by making it illegal to consider risk factors MAGA House Republicans don't like.

The bill wouldn’t risk anyone’s retirement savings. In fact it would protect retirement savings by keeping politics out of it.
Here’s what Phil Kerpen wrote in response:
This is a 100% total lie.
The bill only required fiduciaries to act in the financial interests of investors, period.
Biden's rule (backstopped by this veto) allows "non-pecuniary factors," that is, putting politics ahead of your retirement security.https://t.co/FO5DuOhaXg https://t.co/Si9XiGI70O

The three Democrats who voted for the bill was Jared Golden of Maine in the House and Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Jon Tester of Montana in the Senate.
