A new poll shows what y’all probably already know is true anyway: MOST Americans are against Biden promising to only choose Supreme Court nominees who first meet his racial and gender-based criteria.
A new ABC News/Ipsos poll has the findings and they’re downright definitive.
“Americans overwhelmingly believe Joe Biden should “consider all possible nominees” (76%) rather than “consider only nominees who are Black women, as he has pledged to do” (23%),” it says.
And before you even ask, yes, even though the partisan divide is huge, it’s still the MAJORITY view among DEMOCRATS.
“Partisanship drives major differences in attitudes about the next Supreme Court pick, with virtually all Republicans saying “consider all” (95%) compared to only half of Democrats (54%).”
Yeah. “Only half” being 54%. You know, a majority.
But there’s at least one fella who disagrees, and I just bet y’all know who.
Yep.
Freakin’ Lindsey Graham. He even uses the progressive/liberal way of saying it. “Look more like America.”
If you want it to look like America then the pick shouldn’t be based on race or gender because AMERICA looks like a majority of people who DON’T LIKE THAT, Senator.
And anyway, it’s not even constitutional, bro.
