The hits keep coming for Biden. Inflation in his first year as president* has now soared to the highest level since 1982:

Inflation plowed ahead at its fastest 12-month pace in nearly 40 years during December, according to a closely watched gauge the Labor Department released Wednesday.
The consumer price index, a metric that measures costs across dozens of items, increased 7%, according to the department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. On a monthly basis, CPI rose 0.5%.
Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been expecting the gauge to increase 7% on an annual basis and 0.4% from November.
The annual move was the fastest increase since June 1982.
Joe Biden is Jimmy Carter 2.0. Despite how the administration and some newsrooms are spinning this, the economy is in the crapper. From gas prices to food prices, everything is more expensive and it’s only going to get worse. And that’s if you can find anything to buy. The stores shelves are barren in some places because of Biden’s supply chain crisis.
And no matter what they say, employment is struggling. People still aren’t looking for work and hiring is suffering. You see it everywhere, especially in entry level jobs.
We are in Biden’s “malaise” and it’s only been one year. The elections of 2022 can’t get here fast enough.
