Yesterday the North Carolina Senate passed the new congressional map giving Republicans one more seat in Congress, and today the House passed it as well.
The new map will soon become the law of the land, and lawsuits from Democrats will quickly commence:

The North Carolina House has voted to approve the map of the redrawn state congressional districts as part of a nationwide, Republican-led effort to help the GOP maintain control of Congress in 2026.
After necessary signatures, the map will be law and go into effect before the end of the year.
