President Trump has just canceled the citizenship ceremonies, as well as all immigration & naturalization processes, for immigrants here in the US who are from the 19 third world countries that Trump banned after the terrorist attack last week.
People who were getting ready to become US citizens have already gotten letters notifying them their ceremonies have been canceled.

Effective immediately, USCIS has issued new guidance that halts all immigration & naturalization processes for migrants from 19 “travel ban” countries, including green card & US citizenship applications (legal immigration). This means if someone has already passed the citizenship test, they can’t have their US citizenship ceremony, and cancellation notices for these ceremonies are already going out.
According to the guidance, this will apply to migrants who came from these 19 countries after 1/20/21 (Biden inauguration) and each will be re-interviewed on a case by case basis to screen for national security threats.
