Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche just announced in a congressional hearing that the DOJ has cancelled the Anti-Weaponization Fund.

This is huge, and I’m very happy about it. There was reportedly so much Republican concern about it, to put it nicely, that there’s no way they could have gotten it through the reconciliation bill.
I said before that this felt like an unforced error by the administration and I’m glad they’ve remedied they problem by cancelling it.
