Bill Maher RIPS ‘Justice Warriors’ for Halloween costume lunacy after Megyn Kelly fired: ‘Not everything is RACIST!’

Bill Maher is always the worst, except when he’s not, which is this time. Maher hates a lot of things, but one thing he hates that a lot of conservatives also hate is political correctness. At Halloween each year, like other holidays, political correctness police celebrate by ruining everything for everyone else, because they are sad, aggrieved, illogical, pathetic weirdos.

This week, they got Megyn Kelly fired because during her show she and her guests rightly criticized the nonsense about politically correct Halloween costumes and then she stupidly and incorrectly implied their was no historically racist undertone to white people wearing blackface. She might have “meant” that there is a difference between honoring someone and mocking them, but what she said was that when she was a kid blackface was no big deal, clearly incorrect and any smart media person ought to have known it would be doomsday if they said that.

But it doesn’t change the more basic true thing that people are stupid about Halloween costumes. Watch Maher say so.

“Now I personally don’t care if you go trick or treating dressed as .01% of Elizabeth Warren,” he said to my major laughter (also the audience too I guess), “but the office of scolding justice warriors has decreed no hula girls, no Indian chiefs, no southern belles, no Daniel Boone, no geishas, ninjas, gypsies, mobsters, terrorists, no Cleopatra, pirates offend one-eyed people, you can’t dress as a hobo because it makes light of the homeless, you can’t dress as Quasimodo because it offends hunchbacks, you can’t dress as an escaped mental patient because it offends Kanye.”

Offends Kanye, ha ha ha!

He also said basically exactly what Megyn Kelly said on her show.

“Not everything that merely alludes to another culture is racist or cultural appropriation. Halloween was always fun because it wasn’t PC. Not being PC was almost the whole point of the holiday, but now everything has to be turned into a federal case of snowflakes versus humor.”

I won’t quote the part about the Handmaid’s Tale costume. Text won’t be good enough. You have to press play and hear that yourself.

Bill Maher is right. Scolding social justice warriors are wrong. Again.
